people dare not mention
there is a word in life people are fearful off
there is a word
A word starts with C and the people
who do not understand it and have not
experienced it are fearful of it.
Words are only words
will power, love, understanding
can help you when you or someone you
know suffer with the C word
You all know the power
of the word I speak of
The word I shall mention
the word is not just a word
but an illness that can take our life
with no warning
It starts to attack our body’s
with no warning
it makes us feel sore, tired, week,
Exhausted, ill and sometimes lifeless.
Is it, can it be
Yes it is
CANCER
Cancer of many breads
in many people
Do not let it rule your life
as you are the boss of your life
live it whilst you have a chance
Enjoy whilst you are able
treat each moment as it your last,
Live and treasure each day as it your last
show your loved ones how much you love them
say what you want to say
whist you have a chance
Life is not a toy
life is not all ways long
Life is not to be wasted
nor is every breath you take
This beast might get you or a loved one,
This word we speak of
This horrible illness
Takes hold, no warning
Cancer, no cure,
Medication but still leaves you ill
and in pain
leaves you frustrated
Wondering when
how long
who next!!
